When you have Anna in your picture, you don't need a volcano, but this film has both. It's an entertaining melodrama, and the picture/sound are superb. Another bargain from moviedetective.net

Unjustly neglected in the commotion around ''Stromboli'' that was made at the same time. But it's a good picture. Interesting to watch back to back with ''Stromboli''. A great print.

True classics as promised

Finding lost films can be a lifetime effort, particularly when the films are from foreign countries. I recently discovered MovieDetective.com and have found three films I considered lost forever. Best of all the quality of these films, so far, has been more than expected. I've found lost gems from other companies over the years but this is the first time the quality has been this good. I highly recommend this company if you have favorites that you thought were lost. Give them a look!
