Description
This is a region-free DVD-R without case or artwork.
In Italian with English subtitles. This film is also known as "An Average Little Man" and "A Very Little Man."
Giovanni Vivaldi (Alberto Sordi) doesn't have many ambitions in life. As far as he is concerned, things are pretty good just as they are. He has a wonderful son, whom he is grooming for a place in the civil service, and a weekend hideaway which he loves fixing up. His wife Amalia (Shelly Winters) is also a happy sort, and she adores their son. When his son is a casualty of a bank robbery, however, Giovanni's fuse is finally lit and he is consumed by his need for revenge.

very surprising

What seems to be a typical satirical comedy takes a sudden dark and serious turn, with stunning success. Superb performances by Sordi, Winters and Romolo Valli. Well worth seeing.
