A classic documentary about a movie great.  This isn't a short overview of Keaton but an in depth well done one.

This Brownlow/Gill documentary is itself a hard act to follow:  it's the best ever done on this great (greatest?) film artist.

4 of 5 Excellent documentary about American film genius May 26, 2015
Reviewer: Kenneth Orme from Ligonier, PA United States
I had seen this on videotape years ago, but was overjoyed at the opportunity to revisit it on dvd. Anecdotes and film clips are illuminating, though apparently older unrestored versions of the film were all the producers had to work with. Fine introduction to one of the most important American film directors.

Great biography. Always loved him. Great comedian, but showed even more character as a person. Greatness can be defined as overcoming lifes many obstacles.
