In a mental institution where the patients see themselves as people like Jesus, Lázaro, Marta, Maria, Adão, Eve, Sonia, Raskolnikov, Aliosha e Ivan Karamasov, a Philosopher, a Profet, Santa Teresa d’Avila, reciting the Divine Comedy. An illustration of the madness of faith, this film follows people in an asylum all believing themselves to be some historical or religious figure (or both), all with their own forms of faith, contrasted with intelligensia coming in to debate religion directly.
