Transfer is sharp and clear, English subtitles are very well done and complete, audio is crisp - overall a high quality print of this classic film. As for the film itself, it truly deserves to be called a classic. The acting is superb, the soundtrack perfect, the script brilliant - so brilliant in fact that I still cannot understand how this film passed the Soviet censors in 1966. The film has
