Inazuma
Another wonderful film from the under-rated or overlooked director Naruse. Typically, Naruse provides nice observations of life in Japan with very sympatheic treatment of the heroine played by the beautiful Hideko Takemine.

One of Naruse's finest
Outstanding film, easily one of the best from Naruse. And Hideko Takamine was superb playing the youngest of 3 sisters. I admired her spirit. There are some missing subtitles in spots, but I was able to follow the story with ease. I'm happy with the purchase.

Inazuma (Lightning) Mikio Naruse, Director
Fast service. Movie is in surprisingly good shape with only a few sentences towards the end of the film not subtitled. Otherwise, very good. Looking forward to more Naruse movies you may have
