WONDERFUL SITE!
I have purchased several dozen movies from here over the last few months & I have yet to be disappointed. Every vintage foreign film (mainly French or Italian) I have watched has been excellent in every way - video clarity, sound, and especially the hard-to-find clear & well-translated English captions that one can seldom find on sites like Amazon.

Extraordinarily fine Bolognini film, dramatizing a conflict of values in a complex, intelligent fashion. Nothing is labored, and the sudden ending works because of all that has been established before. This is artful drama, with never a wasted moment. To my mind most recent films pall by comparison with this one. Thanks again, MovieDetective.
