Philandering Commander Max Easton (Mason), now desk-bound and under-worked in the Admiralty, finds he suddenly needs to make some money when he falls for American Virginia Killain. When he hatches a plot to disappear in circumstances that suggest he has defected and then return to sue the papers, Virginia doesn't take much notice - at least at first.

A Touch of Larceny
We thoroughly enjoyed the DVD of this movie. In black and white, it was an excellent reproduction with perfect sound - no background humming or other defects. The disc was well packed and arrived promptly. Very pleased.

A Touch of Larceny
A surprisingly fine copy of a hard-to-find movie. I saw this James Mason classic just once, in 1962, and it has stuck with me since. Finding it in DVD is a real delight!

A Touch of Larceny
When asked which of his films was his favorite, James Mason is said to have picked " A touch of Larceny ". One of my favorite films as well. This is one of those forgotten jewels.

A neglected British charmer
A very amusing British comedy with the three stars well-used and James Mason at his tip-top best in what was his first lead role in a comedy.
