This film is also known as The Dying Swan and Ballerina. Young dance student Janine Charrat idolizes her teacher-role-model Yvette Chauvire, and will do anything to help Chauvire further herself. Thus, when rival ballerina Mia Slavenska lands a much-coveted role, Charrat arranges an accident causing Slavenska to break her leg. The girl comes to regret her rash behavior when it appears as though Slavenska will never dance again...

Fond memory
I was taken to see this movie as a child, and always wanted to revisit it. I was told about your company by one of my sophisticated grandsons, and found this movie in your inventory. Thanks so much from this senior for a visit to a fond memory, and for the opportunity to own this dvd.

Excellent service from MovieDetective. My order was shipped immediately and received in 5 or so days. I had some questions and Chris responded immediately, regardless that it was a Sunday that I contacted him/her. The quality of the DVD is quite good.
