Le passage du Rhin.
Le Passage is not so much a war film as it is a love story and that, too, is a quite different love story. It ranks among the top 5 of my favourite films and when I recently received it from MovieDetective I promptly watched it on two consecutive nights. Especially the ending is a stroke of genius. The acting, the photography, even the soundtrack all blend together as one unforgettable whole. Apa
