This film is also known as "A Modern Story" and "The Conjugal Bed". Alfonso (Tognazzi) has decided that as he has reached his forties, it's time to get married. He meets Regina (Vlady), a beautiful, chaste girl, and after a brief courtship, they marry. Regina, previously reserved and austere, becomes a ravenous lover and reveals proclivities which make it difficult  for Alfonso to keep up with his new wife and her obsession to have a child.

As a fan of out of date Foreign films, I was very pleased to find this copy from MovieDetective.  Received in 3 days, Movie was in excellent condition with captions. Just what I wanted.  Have since placed order for 2 more classics.  Hope to repeat the experience
