The original German title of this film is Der Raub der Mona Lisa. This German crime drama was based on a true story. Willy Forst stars as a poverty-stricken Italian glazier who falls in love with a French hotel maid. Struck by the girl's resemblance to Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa, Forst manages to steal the painting from the Louvre in hopes of impressing his sweetheart.

In Japan we can't watch this precious and excellent movie because no soft package have made. I have already a DVD
of this movie, with Deutsch subtitle. But I bought at Moviedetective because it has English subtitle. Thanks!
