An engineer and amateur artist on holiday moves into a village to paint and relax. Once the villagers find out he can fix things, however, he can hardly get a moment's respite. This comedy was director Boris Barnet's final film.

"It is not my speciality"
A gentle little film overflowing with human warmth and subtle humour. Barnet 's last film is a touching swan song which at the end drew tears of heartfelt emotion .Thankyou Boris Barnet Great Quality thanks once again MD....

A cute, worthy little film.
A precocious, industrious boy takes a liking to a congenial man who has arrived in a small, remote village for a painting holiday, though, the turmoils of the inhabitants soon interfere with his artistic pursuit. In a vague way, this movie shares its mood with the film Local Hero - odd, appealing characters reacting to a stranger, though, no riches will be forthcoming to these villagers.
