Pane, Amore e Gelosia (1954).
Marshall Antonio Carotenuto (
Vittorio De Sica) comes back to native Sorrento to settle and take care of the local traffic police. Since his seafront house is rented by the beautiful widowed fishmonger Donna Sofia (
Sophia Loren), Antonio arranges to rent a room at Donna Violante’s (
Lea Padovani) house. At the same time, Donna Sofia is not willing to vacate Antonio’s house!
